Aldersgate College Inc. Launches New Logo

The post-pandemic era has heralded in a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) world. And yet amidst all the uncertainties and complexities, Aldersgate College Inc., under the strong leadership of President Rev. Dr. Micah Ryan B. Ramel, moves towards new ways of thinking and new institutional structures as ways to respond to the challenges of a constantly evolving educational landscape.
With this, the new Aldersgate College Inc. logo was launched during the first flag-raising ceremony for the tertiary level this first semester, school year 2023-2024. The formal launching of the new logo is the beginning of many strides the institution is taking in its pledge of commitment to strengthen the Aldersgate College Inc. brand through compliances with government regulations and the pursuit of the highest standards of educational program implementation via accreditation.
The new Aldersgate College Inc. logo, designed by Mr. Karl Steven Maddela, Chair of the IT program, and Tristan Daus, a recent IT graduate, is a reflection of its unceasing search for truth as it bears the verse, “Seek ye the truth” from Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV). The yellow shield represents creativity while its green frame symbolizes growth and harmony. The wreath of olives encompassing the shield underscores the quest for peace.
The open Bible represents the premium the institution places on wisdom and learning. The tongues of flames are the core values handed down by its founders and embodied by generations of leaders and students who have walked through the portals of this beloved institution: academic excellence, spiritual nurturance, and social relevance.
The vision of the College is to become a 21st-century university transforming a global network of learners for enlightenment, leadership, and human service through its growing programs: the basic education comprised of preschool, elementary, junior and senior high schools, the undergraduate programs consisting of the College of Arts, Science, Education, & Information Technology, the College of Business, Management, & Accountancy, the College of Engineering & Technology, the School of Criminology, and the School of Medical Sciences, and the Graduate programs made up of the Graduate School of Management & Education, and the Aldersgate Divinity School are embodied in the rays of light emanating from the torch of enlightenment.
The stars embody the goals and objectives of the College.
As a whole, the logo, in its simplicity, returns to the heart of it all, the fundamental pursuit of truth.
