TESDA Awards Aldersgate College Inc. the Certificate of TVET Program Registration

On January 9, 2024, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) awarded Aldersgate College, Inc. the Certificate of TVET Program Registration (CTPR) under the leadership of Rev. Micah Ryan B. Ramel, PhD, the college president.
Aldersgate College, Inc. (ACI) meticulously fulfilled the registration requirements, ensuring compliance with prescribed training regulations. This encompassed curricular programs, faculty and staff qualifications, physical sites and facilities, tools, equipment, supplies, and other prerequisites essential for offering Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs.
Having met all stipulated requirements, ACI is now officially listed in the TESDA Compendium of Registered Programs valid until December 12, 2028. The approved programs include:

  • Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II, with a duration of 196 hours
  • Electronics Product Assembly and Servicing NC II, with a duration of 260 hours
  • Food and Beverage Services NC II, with a duration of 356 hours
  • Housekeeping NC II, with a duration of 436 hours
    This achievement follows successful resource verification and training for the trainers. The key individuals involved in this process include:

  • Angelito G. Capuno, Overseer, TechVoc Center
  • April Richelle M. Jambaro, Registrar, TechVoc Center
  • Ronabeth I. Garcia, Trainer
  • John Leomar Verano, Presidential Secretariat
  • Benjamin G. Aggasid Jr., Coordinator, HM/TM TechVoc Center
    The trainers and their respective qualifications are:
  • Richard S. Del Rosario (Electronic Products Assembly and Servicing NC II, Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II)
  • Gershom B. Palitayan (Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II)
  • Cherry Ann Joy A. Lucena (Food and Beverage Services NC II, Housekeeping NC II)
  • Benjamin G. Aggasid Jr. (Cookery NC II, Food and Beverage Services NC II, Housekeeping NC II, Commercial Cooking NC II)
    The approval was conveyed through a letter dated January 8, 2024, addressed to the College President. It was signed by Dominador P. Dizon, OIC-Provincial Director, and accompanied by a certificate signed by Regional Director Vincent Aljon A. Cifra, acting with the authority of TESDA Director General Sec. Suharto T. Mangudadatu, Ph.D.
    This accomplishment marks another significant milestone in the history of our institution.
