The Graduate Schools of Management and Education, under Dr. Romeo M. Bicad, RCE, and Dr. Divina Gracia B. Apolonio, LPT, respectively, conducted the first leg of a series of research colloquia and integrating seminars aimed at increasing research capability among graduate school students and faculty towards enabling them to publish their works and thus contribute to the world of knowledge.
The event is also a means to bridge academe and industry towards preparing the ACGS students to address real-world challenges as change agents and faithful stewards of their communities.
Invited plenary speakers discussed topics underlying relevant themes: Mr. Rowel S. Padernal, Senior Education Program Specialist from the Department of Education Central Office for education, Rev. Dr. Micah Ryan B. Ramel, President of Aldersgate College for bridging leadership, and Mr. Audy Reginalde, former OIDCI Enterprise Development Specialist, for entrepreneurship.
Joining the panel of experts and reactors led by the plenary speakers were Engr. Jonathan Nuestro of the Department of Science and Technology, Mssrs. Alberto Pamatian and Clifford Gregorio who served in the PH Department of Trade and Industry, Salome Ganibe who worked in the cooperative movement locally and internationally, Rev. Dr. Jonathan Razon, a UMC Church and academic administrator, and Dr. Macrino Raymundo, DEPED NV Supervisor for ALS and PEHM.
Dr. Bernard Balangatan, Rev. Dr. Jaime Bolusan, and Dr. Myrna Viernes, seasoned professors of the graduate school, were on hand and actively participated in the event.
