Student journalists from the Elementary and High School Department brought home awards in the recently concluded Division Schools Press Conference 2023 held at Solano South Central School and Solano High School last March 10-12.
For the elementary level, Danica Joy A. Bulda won 1st place in Feature Writing- Filipino, Nick Jared G. Domincel and Gerald Andrews V. Gatchalian both ranked 3rd in Sports Writing- Filipino and Copyreading and Headline Writing- English, respectively, while Januari M. Castañeto took the 7th spot in Editorial Cartooning- Filipino.
For the high school level, Julius Miguel Dacanay and R Gift Guarin snatched the 3rd spot in Sports Writing- English and Editorial Cartooning- English, respectively, Josel Noej Sopongco ranked 4th in Science and Technology- Filipino, and Irish Earl Benicta was placed 8th in Feature Writing- Filipino.
