Classes for the second semester in the tertiary level opened on Monday, January 16, 2023, and with it the celebration of the 58th Founding Anniversary of Aldersgate College.
The foundation festivities have been slated on February 13 to 18, 2023 but a Thanksgiving Service was held at the AVR with retirees and alumni also in attendance. A program followed where the President, Rev. Dr. Micah Ryan B. Ramel highlighted the year’s theme on bridging leadership and the challenge for ACians to be change agents and faithful stewards amidst a complex world.
Generational representatives in the person of Mrs. Silveria D. Lacuesta as an alumna and former Registrar who served for more than 20 years, Mrs. Nieves R. Madelar as a retiree having taught at the collegiate level and former director of the Aldersgate School of Arts and Music, and Mrs. Philami Galima Uy-Lim, the granddaughter of Aldersgate College founder, Mrs. Pilar D. Galima shared their rich experiences at and fond memories of Aldersgate College.
The Bungkos Sining enthralled the audience with their interpretation of ethnic dances.
