On Sunday, October 9, 2022, Rev. Dr. Micah Ryan Ramel, AC President, and Rev. Dr. Marcel Tanguilan, AC BOT Member and incoming Dean of the Aldersgate Divinity School & Episcopal Area Training Center (ADS & EATC), led the AC Community in welcoming Rev. Dr. Weon Sik Yi, Missionary and Professor.
Dr. Yi came to the Philippines in 1985, and has been continually working tirelessly with episcopal leaders, academic institutions, and local churches all over the Philippines, in pursuit of mission and ministry.
With the coming of Professor Yi, Team AC Inc. reinforces its track record of international partnership and cooperation for leadership development for the Church and the community. During this first visit, Professor Yi did an ocular visit of the Aldersgate College Campus, particularly the offices and rooms for ADS & EATC and the Chaplain, and the AC Women’s Center and Farm at Aurora, Quezon.
AC Chaplain Rev. Rosemarie Agonias, ADS & EATC Coordinator Ms. Jenny Jane Corpuz, and the Ministerial Team of Solano UMC were at hand.
AC BOT Chair Dr. Willie A. Damasco hosted Professor Yi at Mrs. Bakers for the welcome lunch and fellowship. AC BOT Member DS Rev. Joel Domingo, one of Professor Yi’s former students, took time out of his busy schedule to catch up and welcome his mentor.
