Aldersgate College Inc. (ACI) opened its doors to the Research and Development Leadership (RDLead) team for a three-day on-site video shoot from September 11–13, 2025. The activity is part of the preparations for the upcoming RDLead Conference and Year-End Assembly in December 2025, where ACI will be featured in a documentary highlighting its research initiatives and institutional achievements.
ACI was selected by the Department of Science and Technology–National Research Council of the Philippines (DOST-NRCP) as one of the institutions to be showcased under the Enhanced Research and Development Leadership to Foster an Inclusive Research Ecosystem (RDLead FIRE) program. This recognition underscores the College’s growing commitment to research development in Region 2.
Through its engagement with RDLead Expert Dr. Ronnie S. Concepcion III, ACI has significantly enhanced the capacities of its researchers and academic personnel. The partnership included training programs, workshops, lectures, and consultations, all of which helped equip faculty and staff with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue impactful and sustainable research endeavors.
During the video shoot, faculty members, administrators, and student representatives shared their experiences and insights on how the RDLead FIRE engagement has transformed ACI’s academic and research culture. Institutional milestones and success stories were also documented, emphasizing the College’s dedication to becoming an active research player in Cagayan Valley and beyond.
The forthcoming documentary will not only showcase ACI’s strides in research capability building but will also highlight its broader mission of better serving its stakeholders through innovation, collaboration, and community-driven scholarship.
By participating in the RDLead FIRE initiative, ACI reaffirms its role as a catalyst of inclusive development and research excellence in the region, aligning with national priorities for a stronger, more dynamic research ecosystem.
