Vision

The College of Business, Management and Accountancy Program will develop professionals in the fields of International Business and Development, Business Process Outsourcing, Entrepreneurship, and Governance, who are capable of providing reliable, proactive and excellent services to their clients in a multi-national and multi-cultural work setting.

Mission

The College of Business, Management and Accountancy Program shall become a leading research organization, implementing innovative development projects, and providing specialized and continuing education to local and international students and professionals.

Goals

  1. Become the leading intellectual center for business education.
  2. Achieve an exemplary high-performance rating in the CPA board examinations.
  3. Offer new programs and opportunities to maintain continuous growth in the field of business education

Objectives 

  1. To provide professional development to the students in the field of business.
  2. To foster an environment where students and faculty work together in accomplishing the objective, promoting mutual respect, and a sense of pride and ownership in the AC’s accomplishments.
  3. To establish linkages with the business community to enhance the relevance of the business curricula and the bridging of the gap between knowledge and skills.
  4. To assist graduates in securing gainful self- or corporate employment.

Vision

The Accountancy Program envisions itself as a preferred learning center in accountancy, nurturing personal and professional growth by preparing its students for careers in accounting and becoming contributors in the local, national, and international business, professional and academic sectors.

Mission

The Accountancy Program shall become the preferred learning center of accountancy that provides general accounting education to students to pursue a professional career in Accountancy in general and in Public Accounting in particular.  

The Bachelor of Science in Accountancy program aims to:

  1. To equip students with proper understanding and awareness of self as an individual, member of a family, community, and the world with emphasis on his rights as well as his physical, and cultural environment.
  2. To provide students with a broad-based general education, which will assist them in developing their intellectual, interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. To produce competent and ethical professionals capable of making a positive contribution over their lifetimes to the profession and society in which they work. (CHED Memo Order No. 27, Series of 2017).
  4. To provide students a foundation of professional knowledge, professional skills and professional values, ethics and attitudes that will enable them to continue to learn and adapt to change throughout their professional lives. (CHED Memorandum Order No. 27, Series of 2017).
  5. To prepare students for the CPA licensure examination and for an Accountancy career in the public and private sectors.
  6. Strengthen the spiritual formation of students so that they will accept Christ as their own personal Lord and Savior.
  7. Develop people-loving behavior, nurtured in the code of human relations, empathy, integrity and genuineness.

Program Educational Objectives

To prepare students for the acquisition of an excellent academic education adapted to the needs of the local, regional and national community, Aldersgate College through the College of Business, Management and Accountancy shall gear its education objectives or programs by:

  1. Offering a general education program leading to completion of business education courses.
  2. Offering a business course that develops the youth into mature and responsive citizens ready to play their role in the academic programs of the country.
  3. Integrating moral character, education values, personal discipline, science and technology and the abiding faith in God within the academic programs of the college. 
  4. The familiarization with the purpose and objectives of Aldersgate College through the adoption of a viable program of activities. 

Vision

Envisions to mold competent and competitive hotelier and restaurateur enthusiast who will address the persistently soaring demand for highly qualified hospitality employees and other stakeholders in the country and in foreign lands through detailed managerial principles, skill-based trainings and in-depth analysis of existing industry practices. 

Mission

To hone the managerial knowledge and skills of young and vibrant individuals who are enthusiastically immersed in the realsm of the hospitality industry by providing practical applications in different aspects of the industry such as food service procedures, culinary arts, hotel and restaurant operations, accommodations, other hotel and restaurant services, events management, allied services, cruise ship stewarding, planning and development and hospitality education research. 

Program Educational Objectives

The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management/Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management program aims to:

  1. Develop understanding on the scope of hospitality management in terms of products and other issues; an understanding of the general and specific approaches to operation and management of the hospitality industry- in food and beverage service in hotels, restaurants and other related institutions; conventions; resorts; events; exhibitions businesses and management.
  2. Enhance self-confidence and the ability to critically and scientifically evaluate hospitality business issues and to develop solutions from the moral, professional, and academic perspectives.
  3. Instill interest to contribute to the growth and development of the hospitality industry and a problem-solving attitude and business ethics in the practice of hospitality business management.
  4. Prepare students to become successful entrepreneurs in the hospitality industry and promote professionalism in hotel, restaurant and other related institution’s management practices.
  5. Enable graduates to acquire career positions in the hospitality industry or in the broader service sector of the economy.
  6. Prepare and develop students for advancement into a higher level of learning.

analysis of existing industry practices.

Mission

To hone the managerial knowledge and skills of young and vibrant individuals who are enthusiastically immersed in the realms of the tourism industry by providing practical applications in the different aspects of the industry such as tour and travel operations, transportation and accommodation, cruise sales, events management, allied services, entertainment and recreation, tourism research and education, tourism planning and development, and other tourism services.

Program Educational Objectives

The Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management program aims to:

  1. Develop graduate’s understanding of the scope of tourism management in terms of history and the development of the tourism industry; of products and other issues; and an understanding of general and specific approaches to operation and management of the industry- in travel, tourism, conventions, resorts, mega conferences, events, exhibitions businesses and management. 
  2. Develop self-confidence and the ability to critically and scientifically evaluate tourism business issues and formulate solutions based from moral, professional, and academic perspectives. 
  3. Inculcate students’ interest, problem-solving attitude and business ethics that will contribute towards the development of the tourism industry and in the practice of tourism business management. 
  4. Develop students’ skills in the conduct of relevant researches for the utilization of the stakeholders and the community at large.
  5. Enable graduates to acquire career positions in the tourism industry or in the broader service sector of the economy.
  6. Prepare and develop students for advancement into a higher level of learning.
