In a strategic move to bolster student entrepreneurship, Aldersgate College Inc. (ACI) President Micah Ryan B. Ramel, along with key institutional leaders, engaged in a significant meeting with the Entrepreneurship Division of Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development (PROCEDE) Office.
The meeting held last August 14, 2924, was participated by Project Bridge Hub Team leader and concurrent OIC Dean of the College of Business, Management, and Accountancy, Kristian Cesar C. Ollier, and Technical Project Assistant Mrs. Maricris B. Romero. They joined forces with the PROCEDE Office, headed by Mrs. Juditte L. Asuncion. Entrepreneurship Division, represented by its Entrepreneurship Division Chief and Project Development Officer IV, Mr. Roel P. Dolaypan, Jr and his team.
Central to the discussion was PROCEDE’s innovative initiative, Project Developing Entrepreneurial Students Innovating Rural Economy (DESIRE). This project is designed to inspire and equip students with entrepreneurial skills that can drive innovation in rural economies. The collaboration aims to create a dynamic platform where students can transform their ideas into viable business ventures, potentially revitalizing rural communities.
This partnership signals a promising step forward in empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs, as ACI and PROCEDE work together to bridge the gap between education and real-world enterprise. The ACI leadership expressed strong support for Project DESIRE, recognizing its potential to make a lasting impact on both students and the broader community.
Stay tuned for more updates as this collaboration unfolds and opens new opportunities for aspiring student entrepreneurs!
