Aldersgate College Inc. (ACI) reaffirmed its commitment to research excellence and academic
innovation after securing the Best Paper Award in the Education Category at the
International Interdisciplinary Research Conference (IIRC) 2026 organized by Suan
Sunandha Rajabhat University and EduHeart Knowledge, held on March 27, 2026 in Bangkok,
Thailand.
The IIRC convened scholars, researchers, and academic leaders from across the globe to present
interdisciplinary studies addressing pressing challenges in education, science, technology, and
social development. Despite the conference being held onsite in Bangkok, four representatives
from ACI actively participated through an online platform, reflecting the growing accessibility
and global reach of academic collaboration in the digital age.
ACI’s award-winning paper, titled “Institutional Performance in Professional Licensure
Examination of Aldersgate College Inc.: Basis for RISE,” was presented by Ms. Marivic dela
Torre and co-authored by Dr. Flordeliza Gecobe, Dr. Marissa Taguinod, and Mr. Tyrone Marcial
Lopez. The study earned distinction for its strong methodological approach, relevance, and
significant contribution to the field of higher education.
The research examined ACI’s institutional performance in various professional licensure
examinations by analyzing board examination results. It identified critical institutional practices
and contributing factors that influence graduates’ success in national licensure assessments. The
findings informed the development of the RISE (Review Initiatives Scaling Up to Excellence)
Framework, a strategic model designed to enhance academic programs, strengthen review
systems, and implement targeted interventions aimed at improving licensure examination
performance.
This recognition underscores ACI’s dedication to evidence-based educational practices and its
ongoing pursuit of continuous quality improvement. Moreover, ACI’s participation in the
conference reflects its strategic direction toward expanding global academic linkages, increasing
research productivity, and contributing meaningfully to the broader discourse on educational
quality and outcomes.
