Junior High and Senior High School students brought home the 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up overall champion trophies, respectively, during the 6th Math Festival hosted by Nueva Vizcaya State University yesterday.
Kim Leah Loraine Jose and Jeniza Jorelly Jorge (JHS) were declared Champion in Math Maze, while Lucky Soriano and Alliah Mikaella Llantada (SHS) took the 2nd spot.
In the Tower of Hanoi contest- SHS level, the Champions were Gwyn Almirol and Jonathan David Nidea.
Rhandz Marcus Blanco and Savinah Ong(JHS) also bagged the 2nd place in Soma Cubes.
Kyle Johan Vincent Dela Cruz and Cyrus Tugade (JHS) were declared Champions in Tangrams, while Josel Noej Sopongco and Jonathan Razon Jr. ranked 2nd for the SHS level.
In Rubik’s Cube contest, Rafael Dion Meneses and Sean Timothy Briones took the 3rd spot.
The said event was participated by 14 public and private schools in the Province of Nueva Vizcaya. #
