CBMA Holds First General Faculty Meeting for Second Semester, AY 2025–2026

The College of Business, Management and Accountancy (CBMA) officially kicked off the second semester of Academic Year 2025–2026 with its first general faculty meeting last February 18, 2026.

Led by Acting Program Chair and Dean Marilyn C. Acob, CPA, MBA, LPT, the assembly gathered all full-time faculty and staff to align on the college’s strategic direction and operational standards for the new term.

The meeting focused heavily on organizational structure and accountability. Dean Acob presented the updated CBMA Organizational Chart and Succession Plan, emphasizing the importance of clear leadership roles. A significant portion of the session was dedicated to the Reiteration of Job Descriptions, ensuring all members are synchronized in their responsibilities.

With an eye toward excellence, the college reviewed:

📌Accreditation Results: An analysis of recent performance and areas for improvement.
📌 CHED Monitoring: Updates on compliance and the activation of the CBMA Accreditation Committee.
📌 Internal Guidelines: Streamlined protocols for attendance monitoring, academic delivery, and classroom management.

Beyond administrative tasks, the agenda highlighted Instructional and Academic Delivery Requirements and the college’s commitment to Research and Faculty Development. The introduction of a new CBMA Progress Tracker and an updated numbering system for databases aims to modernize the department’s administrative workflow.

The session concluded with an open forum on “Other Matters,” fostering a collaborative environment as the department prepares for a high-impact semester.
