The newly elected officers of both the Elementary and Secondary Schools GPTA pledged their support to the proposed Covered Walk Project of the Planning and Development Team of Aldersgate College in a meeting held at the AVR on November 5, 2022. The team composed of Engr. Godofredo Batarao, chairman, Mr. Angelito Capuno, vice chairman, and Engr. Josephine Jasmin VPA, member presented the 3M worth project before the 47 officers present who represented the Homeroom PTA officers of each class, led by Mrs. Nora Villacentino, president of Elem GPTA, and Mrs. Flora Castro, president of the High School GPTA. Facilitated by the principals of basic education, Mrs. Cely Luna (Elementary) and Dr. Marissa Taguinod (High School), the GPTA agreed to finance the construction of the first 6 spans of the project connecting the EZE and the CSS Building in the amount of P312,000 initially. This sum of money will be generated by dividing it among the parents as suggested by one of the parents and approved by all. The contribution will be available by December 15 of the current year as agreed upon. Some parents also pledged their additional donations to support the project and promised to find donors to generate more funds to support the said project until its full completion. Also present during the said meeting were Rev., Jonathan Daton Palitayan, Research Director, who delivered a message in lieu of the president, who attended the Barangay Assembly at Masoc, Bayombong, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Divina Gracia Apolonio, and Ms. Blesilda Maxion who served as the program host. #MJT
