Solano, Nueva Vizcaya – In a dedicated effort to empower local communities through sustainable livelihood initiatives, Aldersgate College, through its College of Business, Management and Accountancy (CBMA), formally turned over baking equipment, including an oven and essential baking tools, to the beneficiaries of the “Bake Hope” Project in Barangay Uddiawan, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.
The project primarily benefits parents from Barangay Uddiawan, equipping them with skills and resources to engage in baking-related entrepreneurship. The turnover ceremony was highlighted by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Aldersgate College and Barangay Uddiawan, represented by its Barangay Captain and the project beneficiaries. This partnership ensures continuous support for the community’s livelihood development.
Present during the ceremony were CBMA College Dean, the Department Head of the Hospitality and Tourism Management, and HTM-ACCESS Extension Coordinator, Ma’am Margery Musa, who reaffirmed the college’s commitment to community development, skills training, and economic empowerment.
As part of the “Bake Hope” Project, a series of training sessions will be conducted at the Laboratory Room of the Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) Cluster.
