2 and Aldersgate College Inc. (ACI) have formalized a strategic partnership through a
Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing held at Aldersgate College. This collaboration is
designed to strengthen consumer advocacy and foster the development of micro, small, and
medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Nueva Vizcaya.
The partnership seeks to advance MSME growth, uphold consumer protection, and provide
students with practical insights into ethical business practices. By leveraging Aldersgate
College’s academic expertise and DTI’s industry knowledge, the alliance aims to drive
sustainable economic development and enhance consumer welfare across the province.
The MOA signing was attended by key DTI officials and representatives from ACI, with a total of
20 participants reaffirming their commitment to economic growth, innovation, and consumer
empowerment.
During the event, Aldersgate College President Ramel emphasized the institution’s unwavering
dedication to consumer advocacy, aligning it with its 60-year tradition of excellence and social
responsibility. “Excellence is the ultimate benchmark, and it is actively championed by the
government. As Aldersgate marks six decades of transformative education, we acknowledge
our strategic location at the heart of Nueva Vizcaya’s commercial hub, adjacent to the public
market, making this partnership both timely and relevant. Our students and faculty will play a
vital role in consumer monitoring and advocacy, serving as champions of consumer welfare,” he
stated. He further reiterated the college’s commitment to serving as a key government partner
and looked forward to future collaborative initiatives.
Acting Provincial Director Garcia highlighted the significant impact of this partnership,
emphasizing its role beyond the formal signing. “Education and commerce are fundamental
drivers of progress. Through this collaboration, we bridge theoretical knowledge with practical
application, reinforcing ethical business standards and consumer protection as shared
responsibilities,” he said. “This MOA is more than just a document; it represents a movement—a
collective commitment to empowering consumers with knowledge and safeguarding their rights.
A thriving Nueva Vizcaya deserves limitless growth, and through this partnership, we will work
toward that shared vision.”
This collaboration marks a pivotal step in strengthening business education, promoting
entrepreneurship, and ensuring consumer rights are protected in Nueva Vizcaya. Through joint
