Project DESIRE (Developing Entrepreneurial Students Innovating Rural Enterprises) is a collaborative initiative between Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development office (PROCEDE) of Nueva Vizcaya and Aldersgate College, aimed at promoting rural enterprise development and fostering entrepreneurial skills among youth. Anchored in the theme GAYYEM TI UMILI (Friend of the Community): Generating Aspiring Youth Entrepreneurs, Empowering Markets, the program offers seminars, design thinking workshops, and innovation tours to equip participants with practical business insights and encourage sustainable practices. The program’s impact includes developing entrepreneurial skills, creating market-ready business ideas, and empowering students, faculty, and the community. By addressing local economic challenges, Project DESIRE fosters an entrepreneurial culture, strengthens partnerships, and contributes to the socio-economic development of Nueva Vizcaya, building a resilient network of entrepreneurs ready to thrive in a global economy.
