𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗼𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗡𝗼. 𝟲𝟴

𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 – 𝗔𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲, 𝗜𝗻𝗰. (𝗔𝗖𝗜), through its 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨 (𝙎𝙈𝙎), took part in a Blood Donation Drive in partnership with 𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘵 𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤 𝘓𝘰𝘥𝘨𝘦 𝘕𝘰. 68 and 𝘙2𝘛𝘔𝘊 𝘉𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘬. The event, held at the Nursing Arts Laboratory (NAL), EZE Extension Building, Aldersgate College, carried the theme “𝘋𝘶𝘨𝘰 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘈𝘳𝘢𝘸 𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘨𝘢 𝘗𝘶𝘴𝘰,” reflecting the spirit of love and generosity around Valentine’s Day.

The initiative was spearheaded by the 𝐀𝐂𝐈 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜, led by Ma’am Korina Marie Maddela-Cortez, RN, Director for Health and Wellness, organized the event with the support of Magat Masonic Lodge No. 68 and School of Medical Sciences (SMS). Their teamwork helped ensure smooth operations and encouraged strong participation from students, faculty, and the community.

With the help of WM Sir Ruben Ramuel C. Ambatali II and members of Magat Masonic Lodge No. 68, along with PM WB Sir Abraham Abejr Blanco of the R2TMC Public Health Unit, the drive successfully collected 48 𝙗𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙗𝙖𝙜𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 12 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙮𝙚𝙚𝙨, 28 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 8 𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙢𝙣𝙞 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨. The 𝘝𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘥𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘕𝘰. 26, 𝘖𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘋𝘦𝘔𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘺, also played a key role in promoting the event and engaging the local community.

The Office of the Dean, ACI-SMS, led by Ma’am Marivic D. Dela Torre, RN, MSN, LPT, encouraged student participation, reinforcing the school’s commitment to healthcare and public service. ACI President, Rev. Micah Ryan B. Ramel, PhD, LPT, was also among the donors, setting an example of leadership and generosity.

As part of Aldersgate College’s Diamond Jubilee Year celebrations, this initiative helped address healthcare needs while raising awareness about the importance of blood donation. The R2TMC Blood Bank will process the collected blood and make it available to patients in need, including those undergoing surgery or medical emergencies.

The event also served as a learning experience, especially for first-time donors, who gained insight into how their donations help save lives. Organizers encouraged participants to donate blood regularly as a way of giving back to the community.

The theme “𝘋𝘶𝘨𝘰 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘈𝘳𝘢𝘸 𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘨𝘢 𝘗𝘶𝘴𝘰” perfectly captured the purpose of the event—a simple yet powerful act of love and kindness. Through this partnership with Magat Masonic Lodge No. 68, R2TMC Public Health Unit, and the Order of DeMolay, ACI-SMS remains dedicated to training future healthcare professionals while making a positive impact on society.
