Students from the School of Medical Sciences (SMS) at various levels including 1st, 2nd and 4th year actively participated in a significant job fair and symposium event held at Tomas Dacayo Community Center on February 28, 2025. This event was organized and initiated by the Office of the Vice Governor, Eufemia Ang Dacayo in collaboration with ๐๐๐ญ๐ ๐พ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ก๐ฉ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ซ๐๐๐๐จ, ๐๐ฃ๐. (๐๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐๐ผ๐๐๐) with the goal of supporting and empowering healthcare students and graduates in the province.
Students from SMU, PLT as well as recent graduates and board passers seeking job opportunities also attended the event. Thus, this diversity added to the richness of the event, where everyone with a wide range of perspectives and experiences from across multiple educational institutions were brought together.




The job fair event aimed to extend help and support to all the 4-year ๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ช๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐๐ฆ๐ฅ๐ช๐ค๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ฐ๐ถ๐ณ๐ค๐ฆ๐ด ๐๐ณ๐ข๐ฅ๐ถ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ๐ด ๐ช๐ฏ๐ค๐ญ๐ถ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ด๐ช๐ฏ๐จ, ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ช๐ฐ๐ญ๐ฐ๐จ๐ช๐ค ๐๐ฆ๐ค๐ฉ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ญ๐ฐ๐จ๐บ, ๐๐ฆ๐ฅ๐ช๐ค๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ฆ๐ค๐ฉ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ญ๐ฐ๐จ๐บ, ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ณ๐ฎ๐ข๐ค๐บ, ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ณ ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ต๐ฉ๐ค๐ข๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ง๐ช๐ฆ๐ญ๐ฅ๐ด. It served as an avenue for both board and non-board passers to interact with potential employers bridging the employment gap for people who are unemployed or underemployed. Maxi Health would open doors to a wide array of opportunities, allowing job seekers to connect, network and explore new career pathways while also securing prospective employment within the healthcare sector.
While the symposium served a valuable platform for insightful discussions, hone professional skills and the build professional relationships. The distinguished speakers from Maxi Health placed emphasis on the core values of effective leadership, integrity and professional growth.
The central goal of the event was also to introduce and expose students currently undergoing internships to work in the clinical settings beyond the typical hospital environments where they are usually deployed.
Overall, the symposium and job fair were a significant success, providing SMS students and those from other local institutions with meaningful insights and opportunities.
