Team Aldersgate, Inc. warmly welcomed officers from the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office 02 on November 15, 2022 in preparation for an Institutional Monitoring and Evaluation of its programs and processes relative to the implementation of flexible learning.
The Chief Executive, Rev. Dr. Micah Ryan B. Ramel, in his opening remarks, welcomed the opportunity to strengthen the systems and procedures of the institution towards a more responsive and resilient delivery of learning grounded on the institution’s goals and objectives for its learners.
Engr. Rosario Danga, Supervising Education Specialist, CHED R02, also presented the objectives of the team as well the its composition: Dr. Jocelyn P. Carag, Mr. Don De La Cruz, Engr. Joven B. Jacinto, and Mr. Rey S. Tuddao. Engr. Danga also emphasized that the goal of the assessment was not to find fault but to assist the institution towards the attainment of its institutional objectives through compliance with applicable CHED policies and standards.
Members of the Board of Trustees, headed by Dr. Willie A. Damasco, were also present to manifest support and encouragement for the activity.
The onsite monitoring and evaluation on the following day, November 16, 2022, began with a presentation of the institutional compliance report by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Divina Gracia B. Apolonio, which was followed by breakout interview sessions with the heads of the different programs of the College.
A post-conference was conducted by Team Aldersgate immediately after the visit to review the results of the activity and address areas for growth and optimization.
